basically.it's all about the juniors.
sometimes i agreed with my other buddies to the fact that this is our final and last year ever in seri puteri.cyberjaya!
yes.you heard me.
we're quite happy actually.
ohho.kenapa?
kerana tahun 2009 bakal menyaksikan seribu satu perubahan terhadap kehidupan di seri puteri ini.
mungkin dalam proses transformasi menjadikan sekolah kami
private school.bak kata kawan-kawan aku lahh.
we have to put up with the strict rules and regulations
made up by our beloved ibu.
in order to produce a wholesome student of course!
yah.wholesome in terms of excellent results in academic and co-cu achievements.
but narrow-minded students who cannot face the real life in
boarding school and still be dependent fully on their parents.
we are not given enough opportunity to voice out.
i knew and i realised that a good students should abide and listen to their teachers but you know what?
teachers are just normal human being.
and believe me.
human errs too.right?
we are not perfect in any means.
and as a students.we just want you,teachers to listen to our point of views.
i seriously meant listen.
not just hear dan menolak semuanya mentah-mentah.
banyak dialog begini yang kita dengar :
'kalau ada apa-apa yang tak puas hati atau mahu mengemukakan pendapat.sila berbuat demikian'
but the pure truth is that.
when we do so.
the teachers will do their utmost to clarify to the students that
they are right and we, the students are wrong.
i remember the rules made by the seniors when i was in form 2.
it was on 2006.
our dormleader at that time said.
this is the rules.
1st rule : the seniors are always right.
even if seniors are wrong.
please refer to the rules number 1.
that
seniors are ALWAYS right.
maafkan aku tapi interpretasi aku.
guru-guru juga bertindak seperti para senior.
kan?
& to the fact that this year there will be no more 'tanya nama'.some sort of tradition not just in our school but i believe in almost all boarding school really makes me think that the juniors akan 'naik lemak'.kan?
And according to ibu yesterday.the admin threatens to kick whoever continue doing the tradition of 'tanya nama' out from school really amazed me.
i guess seri puteri has changed a lot.
buat salah sikit.anda akan dibuang sekolah.
kenapa?
sebab ssp adalah antara sbp yang berada di ranking tertinggi
untuk permohonan masuk sbp.
malah ada yang mengugut sekolah agar anak mereka dibenarkan bersekolah di sini.
ohho.those filthy rich and high profile parents that think
they can buy everything with money.
well they indeed can!
pendidikan memang bahan komoditi bagi generasi Y sekarang ini.
what's the use of having boarding school
yang sepatutnya kuota kemasukan di beri kepada orang luar bandar yang berpotensi tapi.
bila sesi pendaftaran.majoriti datangnya dari putrajaya.kuala lumpur dan selangor!
bukan menyalah kan mereka ini tapi sistem sekarang
yang seolah-olah membuat masyarakat luar berfikiran.
mahu anak anda masuk SBP macam seri puteri?
oh.pasti mudah kalau anda kaya.
di tambah dengan cadangan Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak
yang mahu bilangan SBP ditambah.
i mean like what?
memang lah murid sekarang ramai yang bijaksana.
tapi.
aku ambil contoh macam wang pisang waktu zaman penjajahan Jepun dulu.
bila terlalu mudah dan banyak dihasilkan.
sampai satu ketika sudah tidak bernilai!
aku tidak mahu nanti 10 tahun akan datang.
orang bertanya :
'awak dulu sekolah mana'
'seri puteri.'
'oh.ok'
seolah-olah beza sekolah harian dan SBP ialah tempat penginapan murid-murid sahaja.
tiada yang berbeza.
malah budaya dan sahsiah serta jati diri sangat rapuh.
lagipun.
senior sekarang sudah jauh lebih baik dari yang terdahulu.
aku di tingkatan 1 pernah merasa yang lebih teruk mungkin.
hari minggu di habiskan di bilik menggosok.
why?
menggosok baju or tudung senior ketika itu.
tengah tidur pun di kejut pergi kafe atau dm untuk beli atau tapau kan makanan.
I had to go through that.everyone
who once lived in boarding school had to go through that too but you know what.
no matter how hard it was at that time.
we somehow manage to get through all that just fine.
and most imprortantly.
we are still ALIVE and happy.
i,myself shared all those memories with my fellow juniors.
just to show them that it is not that the seniors sengaja buat semua-semua benda itu.
but thats just the way it is in boarding school.
and when we met with our past years seniors.
we are okay with each other.in fact we're excited to see them again.
and to just reminisce all that favours that we do for them.
it was something to just laugh at.
no hard feelings at all.
tapi kalau tidak ada kenangan langsung.
do we even care to see them?
haha (:
think about this my dearie juniors.
by the time you girls were in form 5.
your life would be plain and dull.
with nothing to be proud of.
of how you manage to overcome hardship living in a boarding school.
doing all the favours for the seniors.
it taught all of us to be a tougher person.
kenapa tidak anda wahai adik-adik ku sayang?
fikir lah dengan hati yang terbuka.ok?
p/s : aku pun tak suka suruh junior atau tanya nama taw.haha.
